Living life as a ‘family on mission’ with others in community is a big commitment. But starting or transitioning small groups that were pulled together for reasons other than discipleship and mission, and asking folks to now to commit to increasingly live like a family, together on mission, can be tough sledding… It’s hard!
This week on the Lifeschool Podcast we’ll try and help answer the question, “Why is missional living so hard?” while also giving you hope, practical tips, and a little help during the hard times.
Sure, this seems hard at first… (it is!) but once you’ve experienced life in a gospel-centered community, living like a family, there’s no going back to just “checking the church box” once a week on Sundays!
In This Episode of the Lifeschool Podcast You’ll Learn:
- The difference between a traditional small group and a true missional community.
- How our time, schedule, activities and preferences all play into this.
- Why married couples must be on the same page and doing mission together.
- A healthy pace that lends itself to community health and longevity.
